These files are installers for IW4x. The first file installer.exe is a GUI-based installer, the second file installerlegacy.exe is a self-extracting zip archive which contains the old batch installer.It is recommended to try installer.exe first!If you cannot use the GUI installer, use the legacy installer instead.To use the legacy installer, select your IW4x install (or where you want to install it) in the Extract to window. The legacy installer will install the files to where it is currently located. Please make sure that both installer.bat and the installerData folder are in the same folder.
The GUI installer is incompatible with Windows 7/8! Use legacy!If you want to install IW4x into your Program Files folder, make sure to run the installer as admin, otherwise it will not be able to write any files and you'll waste your time!Running the legacy installer as admin will break it!Do not under any circumstance reupload or mirror the installer to anywhere!
